Michael, President and CEO of Kane Investment Management, Inc., is a Registered Investment Adviser and General Securities Principal. He has sucessfully managed portfolios since 1977. Michael received his BA from the University of Michigan and his MBA from Golden Gate University. He has passed the SEC/NASD General Securities Exam- Series 2, the Uniform Securities Agent Exam - Series 63, and the Uniform Securities Principal exam - series 24. Michael is supported by a crew of financial experts - Investment Adviser Representatives, experienced Financial Planners, and outstanding agent advisers who work together to provide you with personal financial management. Bhat bhat@kanefinancialsvcs.com Dr. M. S. Bhat received his BS in Engineering from Benares Hindu University, India, and his MS and PhD degrees in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Upon graduation from Berkeley, Bhat began a distinguished 30- year career with UC Berkeley, IBM and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, starting as a Materials Engineer and eventually attaining management and executive levels in multiple functions such as Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Business Unit Management. He was named Vice-President & General Manager of US Development Labs prior to his retirement from Hitachi in 2007. Bhat joined Kane Investment because of his interest in investments and financial planning, and presently serves as an Vice President of Operations and is an Investment Adviser Representative. Don Davis don@kanefinancialsvcs.com Charles "Don" Davis, CMFC, received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, with MBA courses in Marketing and Finance at the University of Santa Clara. He has worked for Ampex, GenRad, InterMed, and Spectral Dynamics in the fields of instrumentation and computer test systems in various engineering, marketing, and sales positions. Don has a certificate in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has achieved a high level of success in managing his family financial portfolio for the past 20 years. He holds the title Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor, which designates him as having thorough knowledge of mutual funds and their uses as investment vehicles. Don serves as an Investment Adviser Representative, Mutual Fund Counselor and a Financial Planner. Dr. Mas Omura mas@kanefinancialsvcs.com Mas received BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and also earned a Ph.D. degree from Stanford Universirty in Electrical Engineering. He had an illustrious 30-year career with NASA starting as a research scientist and culminating in a Senior Executive Service position: Deputy Director of Center Operations Directorate, NASA/Ames Research Center. Mas received numerous awards from NASA including two Exceptional Service Medals. He has considerable interest in stocks and bonds, and has been in the "market" personally since the early 1970's. Mas serves as an Account Supervisor and is an Investment Adviser Representative. Kathy Loop kfs@kanefinancialsvcs.com Kathy Loop received her BS degree in Journalism from San Jose State University, and has completed courses toward an advanced degree in Communications. She has worked in office administration and management for over 17 years, including seven years as executive assistant to the president of a Silicon Valley-based software company. Kathy serves as an Account Supervisor, Office Manager and Senior Executive Assistant. Amy Rockom amy@kanefinancialsvcs.com Amy brings twelve years experience in the high tech industry specializing in marketing communications and graphic design for software simulation tools as well as serving four years as executive assistant to the Vice President of Product Marketing. She has completed coursework at San Diego State University, majoring in Business/Marketing. Amy serves Kane Investment as an Account Supervisor and Executive Assistant.
